Alison Plant Counseling, LLC

I started my work in mental health over 11 years ago when I graduated with a BS in Psychology from Oregon State University. Since then, I have worked with individuals experiencing homelessness at non-profit organizations, worked with children and adolescents in schools, and worked with adults and children at an inpatient psychiatric hospital. Upon obtaining my MA in Counseling, I have worked in agency and private practice, providing individual counseling to teens, young adults, and adults. On a more personal level, I love be outside playing tennis, paddle boarding, or on hikes or neighborhood walks. I am a certified Reiki practitioner, and an INFP (Meyers-Briggs). I enjoy philosophy, classic authors, and loose leaf tea. I am from Oregon, but have also lived in Australia and New Zealand. I have lived in beautiful Boise, Idaho for almost 8 years now where I landed by accident, but turned out to be a wonderful adventure. I truly believe in the power of therapy, and it is my life passion to be able to walk with others as they navigate life and the many obstacles of it.
